Big Button has won Gold and Silver at the London Live and Film Awards, organised by industry body EVCOM.
The company’s entry for Howden Insurance Brokers was ‘Harry and the FSO Safer’, a case study about Howden's work in helping the UN avert an environmental disaster, which was awarded Gold in the ‘Best Documentary’ category. The Silver award was in the ‘Best Film in a Digital Campaign’ category, and recognised Big Button’s charity project for West Midlands Search and Rescue - a film about the tragic loss of a young student, entitled ‘Tom’s Story’.
The awards event, which “recognises the best of the best in live events and experiences, corporate film and creative communications” was held on November 28th at the Plaisterer’s Hall. Other nominations on the night included films for Shell, Lloyds Banking Group, Network Rail, EE and Unilever.
Big Button’s Client Services Director Simon Crofts said: “Another great night for us, and as always it was fantastic to share the evening with our clients Howden and WMSAR.
“Our two successes on the night really demonstrate the breadth of Big Button’s activity, with recognition for two very different projects. Howden are quite a new client for us, and it’s been fantastic to see them really embrace video and have such success with it across their organisation.
“WMSAR are our current charity partner, and their film is incredibly moving. We’re delighted to have supported them in creating it, and hopefully tonight’s Silver award will help them raise their profile even further.”
