As part of a recent team expansion, Big Button Birmingham has moved from its office in Digbeth’s Rhubarb building, to a new studio in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
Managing Director Mark Burgess said “We’ve had 14 happy years in the Digbeth area, but we needed bigger offices to accommodate the growth of our Birmingham team, and St Paul’s Square really fits the bill. The amenities for the team are far better, and we’re proposing to build two new dedicated edit suites – not just to meet rising demand, but also to allow clients to have greater creative involvement as their projects develop.”
Big Button’s growth in 2016 was the most dramatic in its 14 year history, and is largely attributed to the addition of complementary services that really add value. Creative Director, Simon Crofts: “We’ve always been heavily involved in distribution strategies for our clients, and had very impressive results over the years. But in 2016 we formalised this and relaunched, providing an integrated service that gives video the place it deserves in the strategic marketing mix. It’s allowed us to attract a number of great new clients such as TwentyFour Asset Management, M&G Investments and the Holman Group, and our existing client base are really embracing our new offering as well. The old days of ‘spray and pray’ marketing are over. We now use creative video to target audiences with great precision, and can provide clients with detailed analysis of how, when and where their videos are viewed and shared. It changes everything.”
In addition to the improved location and office space, St Paul’s also boasts high speed fibre connectivity, providing much greater efficiency in the delivery of large video files. And, Mark Burgess adds, a further benefit to clients: “Let’s not forget, the Jewellery Quarter is a famous and historic part of the city. We’ve already had a couple of clients visit the new office and then go off in search of a jewellery bargain, so we’re happy to give them an excuse to visit!”
