It was a night to remember for Big Button as the company won three awards at the prestigious EVCOM London Film Awards 2020.
The awards were presented via a virtual ceremony on 19th November, with an opportunity to view clips from an impressive range of films and campaigns. Big Button won three awards for their short film, ‘Contraption’, which was produced to mark SEGRO’s centenary:
- Best Film in a Digital Campaign — Silver
- Best Brand Communication — Silver
- Best Direction — Bronze
Mark Burgess, Co-Founder, said: "The work on display this evening was superb and we feel fortunate to be counted alongside such talent. It’s been a tough year for everyone, so to watch a fantastic showcase of work that was produced in spite of the difficult circumstances is testament to our industry’s creative thinking and ongoing resolve.
"The Contraption video has been our most high profile project of the year, with awards and nominations from EVCOM, Royal Television Society, Cannes TV Awards and Communicate Magazine's Lens awards. We had a fantastic time working with SEGRO, and it's great for the work to be recognised in this way."
EVCOM is a members-only trade association with a vision to celebrate and advance Britain’s creative industries. The full list of winners can be seen here. ‘Contraption’ can be viewed below.
